Faith Forward Families was founded on a simple belief: strong families create strong communities. We recognize that single working parents often carry tremendous responsibilities while trying to provide meaningful experiences and opportunities for their children. Our organization exists to help bridge that gap by creating spaces where families can connect, grow, and thrive together.

Through family-centered events, volunteer opportunities, and community partnerships, we provide experiences that strengthen parent-child relationships while building a supportive network of encouragement. Whether it’s a special family outing, a community service project, or a local gathering, every program we offer is designed with one goal in mind—bringing families closer together.

Meet My Board

Dawson Mangani

Secretary, Board Member

Dawson serves as Board Secretary for Faith Forward Families and brings a unique perspective as someone who was raised in a single-parent household. Throughout his life, he witnessed firsthand both the challenges and the strength that single-parent families experience every day.

As a young adult, Dawson believes every child deserves opportunities to create meaningful memories, build confidence, and participate in experiences that help them grow. His personal experiences have given him a deep appreciation for the importance of community support and the positive impact that even a single opportunity can have on a child’s future.

Dawson’s passion for serving on the board comes from a desire to help other children and families experience the encouragement, support, and opportunities that can make a lasting difference. He is committed to helping Faith Forward Families create moments that strengthen family relationships and remind single parents that they are not alone.

Dawson is currently pursuing his education in psychology and serves in the Texas Army National Guard. He is passionate about history and enjoys participating in re-enactments. He is also the owner of D.Mangani Hatter, a niche hat maker for historical uniforms.

Michelle Aldrich

Michelle Aldrich teaches Pre-Kindergarten at a private school in McKinney, Texas. With more than 30 years of experience working with children, Michelle is passionate about creating happy, enriching childhoods filled with meaningful cultural and educational experiences. As a mother of four, she understands the value of raising children in a culturally rich environment that sparks curiosity about the world, nurtures a love of learning, and helps them develop empathy for others. She also volunteers weekly in the children’s program at a local women’s domestic violence shelter, where she is dedicated to supporting children’s growth, resilience, and well-being.
